Description
BuildASoil Rice Hulls have been independently tested for heavy metals. Parboiled rice hulls are produced by steaming and drying rice hulls, eliminating biological material while retaining its silica content, creating a lightweight and useful aeration source. Rice hulls are a biodegradable resource produced naturally as a byproduct of rice farming. Opposed to the mining and production of perlite, which does not biodegrade, making rice hulls much friendlier to the environment.
Usage Instructions:
BuildASoil recommends using around 30% aeration. Rice hulls can also be used as a mulch.
